My name is Randy Laboy. I’m married to a beautiful wife and have two handsome and fiercely independent boys. I hold a degree in psychology from the University of Texas at Austin which I chose because I think everything in business and the markets ultimately boils down to psychology.

I guess I knew since I was 12 years old that I wanted to be an entrepreneur. Even when I was working for someone else, I always had some little side business going on and I’m constantly involved in the financial markets.

Over the course of my life I’ve made many costly mistakes in how I’ve invested my money and how I’ve invested my time. For years I focused on starting businesses that I could run on my own. These businesses were mildly successful, but nowhere near self-sustaining. I didn’t experience true success until I realized that a business needed to exploit passive and/or leveraged income in order to generate wealth.

Anyone can make an income, but it takes ingenuity to generate enough income to make someone truly wealthy. I think that’s what attracts me to entrepreneurship. Here’s an area which rewards those with drive and staying power and the amount of money you make is directly related to how clever and persistent you are.

My goal is to help you to become truly wealthy. Not just financially, but personally as well. In my blog you’ll find information about generating passive and leveraged income as well as information on investing and self development. My articles tend to get a little esoteric, but I try to keep them grounded in practical information.
